This is the kinda stuff that drives me crazy...
Crimina sakes!!! He was appointed by Regan!! You just don't get any more Republican than that!!! He says: Extending Bush Tax Cuts Without Paying For Them Could Be Disastrous'. But the R's keep making an issue out of the deficit in an attempt to malign the Dem's!!! Another example of the R's picking & choosing the facts & data to support whichever special interest is giving them the most $.

"In an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," Greenspan expressed his disagreement with the conservative argument that tax cuts essentially pay for themselves by generating revenue and productivity among recipients." (LinkHere) Who woulda guessed? So why do you suppose the R's are so vehemently supporting this?
Let me think now... There's the MILLION DOLLARS Fox News (a.k.a. News Corp a.k.a. Rupert Murdoch) gave to the Republicans. ( LinkHere) How about Charles & David Koch? Haven't heard of them? You should have. Here's a couple quotes from a recent article about them: The Kochs:
* Their fortunes are exceeded only by Gates & Buffett
* "Believe in drastically lower personal and corporate taxes, minimal social services for the needy, and much less oversight of industry" (please see earlier post on government regulation).
* "Are a 'kingpin of climate science denial.'"
Among the top ten polluters in the US.
* "Out did ExxonMobil in giving money to organizations fighting legislation related to climate change."
* Funded anti-health care reform groups and many other Obama initiatives.
* Provided substantial help to the Tea Party (a 'grass roots organization) through the Koch financed entity called Americans for Prosperity. A Republican campaign consultant said "The Koch brothers gave the money that founded" the Tea Party.
Another disturbing quote, from a former Koch adviser: "They're smart. This right-wing, redneck stuff works for them. They see this as a way to get things done without getting dirty themselves." (LinkHere)
Other generous donations from the R's include Home Depot ("Seventy-three percent of the Home Depot's campaign contributions went to Republican candidates in the 2005-2006 US elections. (LinkHere)
So how does the RNC use all this money? Well at least some of it goes to "a lesbian-and-bondage-themed nightclub that the RNC gave nearly $2,000" (LinkHere)
