Fathers are a superfluous luxury.

• Fathers pay child support after taxes are taken out. Mothers receive this support tax free.

• The media is constantly telling of “dead beat dad’s”. Mothers who prevent fathers from exercising their “lawful” visitation and turn the children against their father are never mentioned in any context whatsoever.

• In Marysville WA a woman had her kid’s kill the elderly couple that she (the mother) had been hired to care for. The children’s father had given up trying to maintain a relationship with the kids because of the mother’s constant interference and the court’s refusal to enforce the visitation plan in a meaningful way.

• My personal experience is very similar to the one above, except that to the best of my knowledge my kid’s haven’t killed anyone. I’ve spent @ 50K on legal fees since my divorce trying to enforce the visitation plan. But it was all a waste of $ and emotional energy.

Since my divorce about 12 years ago I have never been late on a child support payment and I have maintained health insurance on my kids (at considerable expense) even though I am not legally required to do so. Yet I had virtually no contact with any of my three kid’s for seven years.

• As further proof of society’s extreme bias against father’s, why do father’s get “visitation time”? We are allowed to “visit” our children as if they were patients in a hospital? Joint parenting is a joke. I was told multiple times that the courts would never award joint custody as that is just simply almost never done (so don’t try).

Fathers are not needed. They are superfluous, expendable and serve no meaningful purpose. Except for paying child support.
