China is ahead of the U.S. in a lot of ways. The manufacturing of green tech. In securing sources for rare earth minerals. In developing relations with other countries (African & South American) to secure long term access to natural resources. The U.S. thinks short term, next quarters profit statement. The Chinese think long term. We need to emulate them but I am not optimistic.
