*Because Americans are afraid of change.
*Because corporate interests have a disproportionate share of power.
*Because of the Koch brothers.
*Because of R's that refuse to admit that overwhelming scientific evidence exists supporting the man made cause of this issue and instead profess a belief in the minimal and discredited science.
