Food, Oil rigs, airplanes, environment, and banking - Do you care?

Food, Oil rigs, airplanes, environment, and banking.  Do you care about any of these?
Do you eat eggs tainted with salmonella?  Do you care if oil rigs pollute our waters? Would you like to take a ride with a pilot who hasn't slept in 24 hours?   Do you like sewage flowing into our rivers and streams?  Do you like giving billions of dollars to executives that make multi-million dollar salaries?
Well maybe you can take a ride on an airplane with a well rested pilot soon.
Deregulation, largely under  the R's, has been largely a complete disaster.  I believe that the R's would argue that deregulation is the antithesis of socialism and therefore a good thing.  I would also argue that at least SOME of the R's are perhaps beginning to see the detriments of deregulation.  So does that mean that they becoming socialists?   No, of course not they would argue.  It's just politically expedient.
I find it highly ironic that so many of the R's supported the auto bailout and the financial bailout and they are now calling it Obama's project.
Airline deregulation was started under the god of the R's, Regan.
And deregulation in and of itself is not the whole issue.  Lax enforcement, which is virtually the same as deregulation is also a major component of this problem.
