I like George Clooney (see below to understand why this might be weird). The reviews sound like it's something I'd enjoy Probably won't make my all time favorite's list (see my list of favorite movies if you want to know more about how my tastes run), I'm sure I'd enjoy it. I sit through chick flicks with my wife (even the soap opera's she tapes through the day!) and every now and then we watch something together just for my benefit.
And now please let me rant and rave a little bit.
Why do most movies have to be made with big stars, well known names and Oscar winners? I'm of the opinion that most, maybe even all of these movies would do just as well and in some cases even better with relatively unknown actors. Am I wrong? And maybe they'd do just as well with unknowns? And especially the computer animated movies with celebrity voices. Personally, I can't even recognize who the voices belong to most of the time. The studios would save a lot of $ and maybe flicks would be more affordable. Maybe the studios could even do a knife stab like the music industry did with the introduction of CD's (CD's cost less to produce than vinyl but the record companies RAISED the prices above that of vinyl records).
